Day 01 : Calicut

Welcome to God’s Own Country. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Calicut Airport/ Railway Station and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.

Day 02 : Calicut

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Calicut. Calicut is one of the traditional capital of Northern Kerala. Later proceed for sightseeing of Calicut city which includes Dolphin’s Point, a good place to watch dolphins playing in the sea early in the morning. Also visit Calicut Beach, Thali Temple & Kappad Beach, the place in India where Vasco de Gama landed in 1498.Overnight stay at the hotel/resort.

Day 03 : Calicut – Wayanad (105 kms. - 02 hrs.)

Day 04 : Wayanad

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to enjoy the greenery & waterfalls of Wayanad. The places of attractions are Pookot Lake & Soochipara WaterFalls. Boating in the Pookot Lake is a memorable experience. Tall trees and dense forests that line along the pathway around the lake provide a visual treat. Soochipara Falls the natural scenic beauty of Wayanad and its rich natural resources offer several opportunities for adventure tourism. Banasura Sagar Dam, the 02nd largest earth dam in Asia where Speed boats are also available. Day 05 : Wayanad – Kochi (300 kms. – 08 hrs.)

Day 06 : Kochi

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kochi. Kochi which is having the best preserved history of colonial times and the ideal way to bring it alive is to take a walk down memory lane. The major tourist attractions are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 07 : Kochi – Munnar (158 kms - 04 hrs.)

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar is the gateway of Hills in South India. Day 08 : Munnar

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, visit Mattupetty Dam which offers many fascinating sights to relish. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching, with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens. Day 09 : Munnar – Thekkady (110 kms – 03 hrs.)

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Thekkady which offers diverse attractions like Wildlife Sanctuary, Hill Station and Spice Plantation. Natures own little hideout nestled in the hills of Thekkady. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Day 10 : Thekkady

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to the most attractive feature of Thekkady i.e. Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. The place where one can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, Wild Bison, Wild Boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Day 11 : Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 kms. – 03 hrs.)

Day 12 : Kumarakom

The major attraction of Kumarakom is the Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed. Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal, and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, and the Siberian storks which migrate to this place each year. Day 13 : Houseboat

Day 15 : Houseboat - Varkala (110 kms. – 3½ hrs.)

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed to Varkala. Reach & check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Later explore the beach on your own. Varkala, a calm and quiet hamlet, lies on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram district. The secluded beach, craggy rocks and the hint of undulating backwaters. With the backdrop of rocky cliffs Varkala Beach provides a perfect contrast to the lapping waves. Papanasam Beach is among the prominent places of Varkala Beach. Day 16 : Varkala

The temple of Janardhana is a fine example of Kerala art and architecture and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Sivagiri Mutt is a religious site, founded by Sree Narayana Guru (1856 – 1952), the famous philosopher and social reformer of modern Kerala. Day 17 : Varkala – Kovalam (66 kms. – 01½ hrs.)

Day 18 : Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum. Thiruvananthapuram literally means Ananthapuri, "the city of Ananthan", the Thiru (Great/Lord) Ananthan's Puram (City). Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu reclines. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city. Other sightseeing places are Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the name Kuthiramalika means 'palace of horses' derived from the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the exterior walls. Veli Tourist Village, which has an excellent waterfront park with a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities like fishponds, wading pools and landscaped garden. Day 19 : Kovalam – Kanyakumari (84 kms - 02 hrs.)

Kanyakumari an important pilgrim centre of India, is famous for the Amman Temples – a symbol of unity and sanctity – dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanyakumari. Day 20 : Kanyakumari

Enjoy the sumptuous breakfast. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Kanyakumari. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial resembling the central India Hindu temples in form, the memorial was so designed that on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday (02nd October), the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where the ashes were kept. Thiruvalluvar Statue the memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar is in Kanyakumari. Explore the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day : 21 Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (95 kms – 02½ hrs)

The Eravikulam National Park, Munnar, will remain closed from 01 Feb to First Half of April of every year.

Important Information about Kerala Houseboat services.

Check-in time at Houseboat is 12.00 hrs. & Check-out time is 09.00 hrs.

Houseboat will be stationed at one place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am next day due to Govt. restrictions.

Houseboats are accompanied by navigator, cook and a helper.

In Deluxe category Houseboat, A/C will be operational from 9.00 pm to 6.00 am next day.

In Premium Houseboat, A/C will be operational as per guest request anytime.

No two houseboats are of same size and quality. The interiors of two houseboats also varies.

Houseboats are for exclusive use and not shared by other guest unless specified.

Guest are requested to carry mosquito and insect repellents since at night the boat are anchored along the waterway.

Always keep the door of the bedroom and washroom closed to avoid mosquitoes and insects .

Choices of food are limited and mostly South Indian food are served.

Quality of houseboat cannot be compared with that of hotels, where the guest were staying previously.

Houseboat rooms are small in size and have basic amenities.
