Classical North India Tour

Day 1: 1 Arrival in Delhi

Arrival in Delhi. Transfer from Airport to Hotel by our Rover Holidays. Rest of the day leisure and acclimatization. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Full day guided Delhi sightseeing tour to explore attractions of Old Delhi and New Delhi as well. Delhi is home to several historical sites, monuments and many modern architecture. Major attractions to see in the city of Delhi include Rajghat (the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi), Red Fort (Lal Quila), Jama Masjid (the largest mosque of India), Qutub Minar (the longest brick minaret in India), Chandni Chowk, President House, Parliament House, India Gate War Memorial, National Museum, Lotus Temple (the Bahai House of Worship), Akshardham Temple (the largest Hindu Temple Complex in the world), Purana Quila, Humayun’s Tomb, etc. On time return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel in Delhi. Drive to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan state. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Jaipur. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided full day city tour of Jaipur covering key attractions of the city. Famously known as the Pink City of India, Jaipur is home to several historical sites and monuments. Major attractions to see in this beautiful city include Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace Complex, Govind Devji Temple, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, etc. Explore colorful and local bazaars in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra

Take breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and drive to Agra en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri historical monuments. Further continue your drive and check in at the pre-booked hotel upon arrival in Agra. After some leisure at hotel proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit the magnificent Agra Fort and then go to visit the Taj Mahal at sunset. Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, is India’s start attraction. It is visited by millions of tourists ever year. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

Day 6: Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho

Check out from the hotel in Agra after breakfast. Transfer to Agra Railway station to board train to Jhansi. In Jhansi, Rover Holidays representative will receive and drive you to Khajuraho en route visiting Orchha temples and monuments. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, check in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy Sough & Light Show in the evening at Khajuraho Temple Complex. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Khajuraho - Varanasi

Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour to explore Khajuraho Group of Temples which are famous for its erotic art and sculptures. Afternoon transport to Khajuraho Airport to board flight to Varanasi. Arrival in Varanasi. Transfer to hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure or enjoying your activities on your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 8: Varanasi

Early boat ride on Ganges River. Back to hotel for breakfast. Later, full day guided sightseeing tour of Varanasi city covering Bathing Ghats, Temples and other key attractions of the old city, including excursion to Sarnath, famous Buddhist site. Evening; witness the Aarti ceremony (lighting lamps) at holy river Ganges bank. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Varanasi.

Day 9: Varanasi - Delhi

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfer to Varanasi Airport to board flight to Delhi. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in Delhi. Evening; free & easy for own activities and last minute shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 10: Delhi - Departure

Morning breakfast. Leisure time. On time transfer to New Delhi International Airport to board flight back to your onward destination. Classical North India Tour ends now.
