Day 1: Kochi - Munnar (150Kms-4hrs)

Welcome to God's Own Country. Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, our representative will greet you and facilitate your transfer for the Mumbai to Kerala tour. Munnar serves as the gateway to the hills of South India; nestled in the Western Ghats, this picturesque town is renowned for its mist-clad rolling mountains, sprawling tea gardens, and wildlife sanctuaries. Given its temperate climate, it remains one of the most sought-after travel destinations in India. En route, you will have the opportunity to view the scenic Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls before arriving at your hotel. After checking in, please take some time to freshen up and unwind. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, surrounded by nature. You will be staying overnight in Munnar.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the renowned Nilgiri Tahr. Afterward, proceed to the Mattupetty and Kundala Dams, where you may enjoy boating on the reservoir, surrounded by lush tea gardens and expansive grasslands. You will also visit Echo Point—famous for its natural acoustic phenomenon—as well as the Shooting Point and the Tea Museum. Your overnight stay will be in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar - Thekkady (140km-4hrs)

After breakfast, you will proceed to Thekkady, a destination celebrated for its wildlife sanctuary, scenic hill station landscapes, and aromatic spice plantations. Its diverse offerings make it a highly favored retreat for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy some time to unwind. Later, you will visit Periyar National Park, the premier attraction of Thekkady, where you can embark on a wildlife cruise across Periyar Lake to observe indigenous fauna in their natural habitat. You may also participate in various engaging activities, such as guided spice plantation tours, bamboo rafting, jungle trekking, or elephant rides. We also recommend visiting the local spice market to purchase authentic handicrafts and fresh garden spices. You will stay overnight in Thekkady.

Day 4: Thekkady - Kumarakom (180kms-5hrs)

Following breakfast, you will depart for Kumarakom. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy time at your leisure. Kumarakom is renowned for the scenic Vembanad Lake, which features an intricate network of channels, streams, and distributaries. A primary highlight of your visit is the prestigious bird sanctuary, located within the grounds of a historic estate, where a wide variety of species can be observed. Visitors may encounter numerous domestic birds, such as cuckoos, wild ducks, egrets, darters, herons, and teals, as well as migratory Siberian storks that frequent the region annually. You will spend the night in Kumarakom.

Day 5: Kumarakom - Cochin (90kms-2.5hrs)
