Welcome to God's Own Country. Upon your arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel to begin your Kerala Wildlife and Beach Tour. Following check-in, you will enjoy a half-day city sightseeing tour of Kochi. Key attractions include St. Francis Church, the Chinese fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, and the Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace). You will spend the night in Kochi. (Please note: The Dutch Palace and the Jewish Synagogue are closed on Fridays and Saturdays.)
After enjoying breakfast, you will depart for Thekkady, a destination renowned for its diverse attractions, including a wildlife sanctuary, scenic hill stations, and lush spice plantations. Thekkady is a premier choice for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up and unwind. Later, you will proceed to Periyar National Park, the area's most prominent attraction, where you can enjoy a wildlife cruise on Periyar Lake to observe local fauna in their natural habitat. Guests may also choose to participate in various exciting activities, such as spice plantation tours, bamboo rafting, jungle trekking, and elephant rides. Before concluding the day, we recommend a visit to the local spice market to browse a selection of handicrafts and freshly harvested spices. You will spend the night in Thekkady.
Depart for Gavi early in the morning, arriving by 8:00 AM. Gavi is a renowned eco-tourism destination in Kerala, recognized by international tourism publications as a must-visit site in India. Following registration and breakfast, you will enjoy a guided tour of the plantations to fully appreciate the region's natural beauty. After a vegetarian lunch, you will proceed for a relaxing rowboat ride, followed by a visit to the aromatic cardamom plantations and the local healing house. Next, you will visit a scenic vantage point offering panoramic views of the Sabarimala mountains and the sacred pilgrimage site. The itinerary also includes a visit to the local museum, where an array of preserved animal skeletons is on display. After a refreshing tea break, the excursion concludes at 4:30 PM, followed by a transfer back to your hotel in Thekkady. After breakfast, depart for Kumarakom to experience the serene Kerala backwaters. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some time at your leisure. Kumarakom is defined by the majestic channels, streams, and distributaries of the expansive Vembanad Lake, which create a stunning, intricate network of waterways. A primary attraction is the local bird sanctuary, situated on the grounds of a historic estate, where a diverse array of avian species can be observed. Visitors may spot a profusion of domestic birds such as cuckoos, egrets, herons, and teals, as well as the migratory Siberian storks that visit the region annually. You will spend the night in Kumarakom.
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel at 11:00 AM and travel to Mararikulam to continue your Kerala Beach Tour. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel. Marari Beach offers far more than just pristine sands and surf; it provides an authentic glimpse into the traditional fishing villages of Kerala and a harmonious way of life that has been preserved for generations. The village of Mararikulam remains largely unchanged, where local fishermen continue their daily routines, heading out to sea to secure the daily catch. With its expansive, beautiful coastline, Marari provides visitors with a firsthand experience of local charm and renowned Kerala hospitality. You will stay overnight in Marari.
After enjoying breakfast in Mararikulam, take the opportunity to explore the pristine coastline, where you can walk along the sun-kissed, shimmering sands. Renowned for its natural splendor, the beach offers a tranquil atmosphere, stunning scenery, and crystal-clear waters that provide a truly rejuvenating experience. You will spend the remainder of the day at leisure in Marari.
