Day 1: Cochin Tourism (40kms-1hrs)

Welcome to God's Own Country. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at the Cochin Airport or railway station before transferring you to your hotel to commence your backwater excursion. After checking in, you will proceed on a half-day city sightseeing tour of Kochi. Key attractions include St. Francis Church, the Chinese fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, and the Mattancherry Palace (also known as the Dutch Palace). You will spend the night in Cochin. Please note that the Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue are closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

Day 2: Trip to Kumarakom Backwater (90kms-2.5hrs)

Following breakfast, you will depart for Kumarakom. Upon arrival, proceed with your hotel check-in and enjoy some leisure time in the tranquil surroundings. Kumarakom is graced by the scenic Vembanad Lake, featuring a complex and captivating network of canals, streams, and distributaries. A primary highlight of this destination is the bird sanctuary, situated on the edge of a historic estate, where visitors can observe a diverse array of species. A wide variety of birds, including cuckoos, wild ducks, egrets, darters, herons, teals, and migratory Siberian storks, can be frequently spotted here. Your overnight stay will be at the Kumarakom Backwater Resort.

Day 3: Kerala Alleppy Houseboat (40km-1hrs)

After enjoying a morning breakfast surrounded by nature, you will proceed to Alleppey. Upon arrival, you will check into a traditional, indigenously designed houseboat, featuring well-appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a hygienic kitchen, a dining area, and a private deck from which to admire the scenic backwaters. As you cruise through the narrow, coconut-fringed canals, you will gain unique insight into the local way of life. The breathtaking beauty of the surroundings and the serene atmosphere are certain to leave a lasting impression as you conclude your day with an overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 4: Alleppey to Cochin Departure (120Kms-4hrs)

Enjoy the breakfast. Later pack your baggage with a promise to re-visit once more to this part of the world. Proceed on time in Cochin Airport to board flight home. Your Kumarakom backwater tour ends now.
