ITINERARY

Day 1: Manali Arrival & Sightseeing
After reaching Manali bus stand around 6-7 am, Our rep will meet you at the Volvo Stand and assist you in getting transferred to the hotel. Check-in and freshen up. Later, proceed on a half-day excursion and explore Manali. Visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht and its hot Sulphur springs, the Tibetan-Monastery and the Club House where you can indulge in some fantastic activities like skating, swings, etc. The evening is at leisure. Overnight in Manali.

Day 2: Manali - Sarchu (225Kms-7.5hrs)
After early morning breakfast leave for Sarchu, your onwards journey into the unknown & for the surprises the day had. It would be a real test of strength & a challenge. Pass through Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), Lahaul Valley, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa. Lunch Break is at Darcha. After Lunch drive to Sarchu through Baralacha Pass (16020 ft). Overnight stay at the Camp.

Day 3: Sarchu - Leh (255Kms-8hrs)
Leave for Leh by early morning, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After the Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Arrive at Leh by evening.  Overnight stay at the Hotel / Resort.

Day 4: Leh Sightseeing.
After breakfast, today we will drive towards Kargil road and start your sightseeing with Hall of Fame near Leh, this  museum is constructed by the Indian army. Next visit Spituk Gompa. A three-chapel monastery, Spituk is located at a distance of approximately 8 km from the town of Leh. Later visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib - nestled deep in the Himalayas, was built by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. Another 4 km drive takes us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up further. Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, 4 km before Nimmu village. Return to the hotel, dinner and stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 5: Leh - Nubra Valley (160kms-4.5hrs)
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY, through KHARDUNG-LA the highest motorable road in the world at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers and situated between North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh range of Himalayas.
In the afternoon visit Hunder Monastery at Hunder village. Hunder is lying close to the border between India and Pakistan in the north-western part of Ladakh. You can visit the SAND DUNES and also enjoy a camel safari (Optional on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at Nubra.

Day 6: Nubra Valley - Leh (160kms-5hrs)
After breakfast at the camp, visit Diskit Monastery en route to Leh. There are a number of shrines inside the monastery's complex, like Kangyu-lang, Tsangyu-lang, etc. Diskit Gompa has quite an interesting legend attached to it. It is believed that a Mongol demon once lived here and was considered to be a sworn enemy of Buddhism. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Le - Pangong Lake  via Shey & Thiksey (225kms-6.5hrs)
After an early breakfast, leave for the mesmeric Pangong Tso en route visiting Shey & Thiksey. The Palace and Monastery of Shey, an impressive complex on a hill, was constructed on the orders of King Deldan Namgyal in 1655 AD. It houses one of the largest golden Buddha statues in the country. After the visit, continue towards Pangong, passing through Changla pass, which is around 5360 metres above sea level. Pangong Lake, situated at 4267 metres above sea level, is famed for its serenity. Pangong Lake is a long narrow basin of inland drainage the highest salt water Lake in the world, shared by two countries India & China. Though open to tourists, the lake and its surrounding are under army surveillance. Evening at leisure. After dinner, overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 8: Pangong Lake – Leh via Hemis (225kms-6.5hrs)
Post breakfast, you are free to explore, and capture the beauty of the lake in your cameras. Drive back to Leh, enroute visiting Hemis Gompa – the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. As soon as you reach Leh, check-in at the hotel and take some rest. After dinner, retire to your hotel room.

Day 9: Leh Departure
Enjoy the nature. Today your beautiful stay in Leh draws to a close. After breakfast pack your bags to reach the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
