OVERVIEW

The holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is one of the most famous Hindu pilgrim centers in the world, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Here, the Bhawan homes the sanctum sanctorum or the holy cave where the goddess manifested herself in the shape of natural stone formations, known as the 3 Holy Pindies. To reach the shrine, one must acquire a Yatra Parchi from one of the registration counters and embarks on a trek of around 13km. Most devotees walk either way, some prefer to ride a pony, while the palanquins are available for the elderly and sick. A helicopter service operates from Katra to Sanjhichatt, from where the shrine is only 2.5 kilometers. Trekking To the holy cave, amidst the reverberating songs of Jai Mata Di and gorgeous views of the whole valley, the yatra to Mata Vaishno Devi's temple is a spiritual journey like no other. ITINERARY

Day 1: Jammu - Katra
Arrival at Jammu Airport/Raiway station and transfer to Katra, the starting place of Vaishno Devi darshan trek. Check in at the hotel. Afterwards make the arrangements for the purchase of next day tickets darshan. Throughout season Yatra Parchi. Overnight stay at Katra.

Day 2: Katra - Vaisnodevi - Katra
Morning after breakfast go to Vaishnodevi Darshan, please note. Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan in Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). Throughout peak and Summer travel season it might be advisable to start the climb previous day. Once the queue tickets are purchased the waiting period might be half a hour up to 3 hours depending upon the rush. Throughout season Yatra Parchi. Guests looking to get Helidarshan, morning flights are recommended for the best weather and at least uncertainity. Return by evening.

Day 3: Katra - Jammu Departure
After having the tasty breakfast in the hotel, pack your baggages with a guarantee to return once more to this paradise. Proceed on time in Jammu Airport/ station on board your flight/train with sweet memories of your holidays. We await for your next visit. Bon Voyage. Service ends.

Cancellation Policy
Package can be cancelled with written mail from the person making the booking. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy mentioned below:

19 -10 Days prior to Tour Start Date 50% of full tour cost.
