Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi - Jaipur
A representative of Rover Holidays will receive you with warm welcome from New Delhi International Airport in New Delhi upon your arrival. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. After some rest and breakfast at the hotel you will be taken out for a half-day sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, and Qutub Minar. Get back to hotel on time and then check out from the hotel and leave for Jaipur, the largest and capital city of Rajasthan state. On arrival in Jaipur, our representative will meet and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Jaipur
Take the hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then embark on full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the Pink City of India. On your Jaipur sightseeing tour you will have a wonderful opportunity to see and explore several architectural beautiful monuments including forts, palaces and temples among several other attractions. Major attractions may include Amer Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace & Museum, Govind Devji Temple, Laxmi Narayan Mandir (Birla Temple), Albert Hall Museum, and Jantar Mantar Observatory. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Jaipur - Ranthambore National Park
Take your breakfast and then check out form the hotel in Jaipur. Drive to Sawai Madhopur (Jaipur) which is worldwide famous for Ranthambore National Park. Check in at the hotel upon arrival at Sawai Madhopur Ranthambore National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary. In the evening enjoy a stroll through the abundant natural splendors. Get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Ranthambore National Park
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. There are two scheduled wildlife safari to explore the attraction of the Ranthambore National Park --- Morning Safari and Afternoon Safari. Situated in Sawai Madhopur of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in the Northern India. The park is best known for its large tiger population. Here you can easily spot royal Bengal tigers ambling or basking under the sun. Other animals can be spotted here include striped hyena, sloth beer, chital (spotted deer), sambar deer, wild boar, Indian leopard, nilgai, and gray langur. The wildlife sanctuary is also home to a wide variety of birds, reptiles, trees and plants. It is also home to one of the largest banyan trees in India. Ranthambore Fort, built in the 10th century, is another attraction within the sanctuary. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Ranthambore National Park - Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, visit to the sanctuary for nature watch. Post lunch checkout from the hotel and then drive to Bharatpur (Rajasthan), the site of Keoladeo Ghana National Park, also called Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Bharatpur you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Take the breakfast at hotel and then go for bird watching at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy rickshaw ride to explore the bird park. The bird park is considered to be as the world’s best bird areas. It is also one of the richest bird areas in the world. It is known for nesting of resident birds and visiting migratory birds including water birds. The rare Siberian cranes can be spotted here in winter. While exploring the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, bird paradise, you will have a wonderful experience of bird watching. In the afternoon, drive to Agra in Uttar Pradesh, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Agra), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fatehpur Sikri is known for monuments like Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Dargah, Jodha Bai Palace, and several other historical monuments and ruined buildings. Continue your journey to Agra and check in at the hotel upon arrival there. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: Agra & Excursion to Sikandra Akbar’s Tomb
Take a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Thereafter embark on guide city tour of Agra, the erstwhile capital of Mughals & internationally famous for magnificent Mughal monuments ---- Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Taj Mahal in Agra is one of the most beautiful and most visited buildings in the world. Built in white marble, the Taj is exceptionally beautiful and attracts millions of domestic and international tourists as well ever year.
