After breakfast at the hotel embark on sightseeing tour in Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu state. Major attractions include Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, Government Museum, Ripon Building, Victoria Public Hall, National Art Gallery, and Marina Beach. Marina Beach is the second largest urban beach in the world. There are several historical monuments and memorials at and around the beach. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Kanchipuram, a holy and historic city of Tamil Nadu known for temples, monuments, and silk. Visit the Kailasanathar Temple, the oldest temple in Kanchi. Later proceed to see other temples and monuments such as Kamakshi Amman Temple, Kumarakottam Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Muktheeswarar Temple, Thiru Parameswara Vinnagaram (also called Vaikunta Perumal Temple), and Thiruparthikundram Jain Temple. There are many more architecturally beautiful and religiously important temples in Kanchipuram which attract the visitors and pilgrims. You may buy hand woven silk sarees from local markets of Kanchipuram as the town is a traditional center of silk weaving and handloom industries for producing world famous Kanchipuram sarees. Later, drive to Mahabalipuram, a historical beach town Tamil Nadu, known for the group of monuments, UNESCO World Heritage Monuments. On reaching Mahabalipuram check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
