Key highlights include St. Francis Church, the iconic Chinese fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, and the Mattancherry Palace (also known as the Dutch Palace). You will spend the night in Cochin. (Please note: The Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue are closed on Fridays and Saturdays.)
After a hearty breakfast, proceed to Munnar, the gateway to the hills of South India. This picturesque town in the Western Ghats is renowned for its mist-clad rolling hills, sprawling tea gardens, and lush sanctuaries, making it one of the most sought-after travel destinations in India. En route, you will have the opportunity to view the scenic Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls before arriving at your hotel for check-in. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring the natural beauty of your surroundings. Your overnight stay will be in Munnar.
After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park to observe the renowned Nilgiri Tahr. Proceed to Mattupetty and Kundala Dam, where you may enjoy boating on a reservoir framed by expansive tea gardens and lush grasslands.
